This 56-acre park has a lot to offer, including hiking on trails along Chocolate Bayou, bank fishing on Mohawk Lake, sports facilities including horseshoe pits, volleyball, basketball and softball, a playground area, swimming pool, and overnight cabin and dormitory rentals. Come and enjoy the quiet and tranquil atmosphere in the piney woods between Alvin and Angleton, Texas. Natural attractions at Camp Mohawk include the only stand of native pine trees in Brazoria County, a guide for identifying tree species along the trails, bird watching and nature viewing, and fishing.
Camp Mohawk County Park is located on SH 35 about 8 miles south of Alvin, TX (just south of Chocolate Bayou bridge).
