The Old Brazos River is a great body of water to explore in Freeport. Launch from RiverPlace at Freeport Municipal Park or from the Freeport Splash Pad/Boat Ramp. Don’t go under the bridge, there is too much boat traffic that way for paddling.

RiverPlace is located over the levee at Freeport Municipal Park. The Freeport Splash Pad/Boat Ramp is located at 1300 W. Second Street.
